I see Fall Classic is scheduled a month earlier than last year.

Anyone know why? More daylight?

I just noticed that also, I don’t think that is a very good idea, especially when it steps on other registered shoot dates in the state. What is wrong with October?

Hi JD, go up to the SHOOTS TAB and click on it, scroll down to calendar and you can use the arrows in the upper left corner to page through the months.

I think the September date is just fine. It is the start of a new shooting year and doesn’t seem to “step on other registered shoots dates” that I can see. We need to throw targets and have better participation for the place to be successful.

I don’t know what to tell you JD as I am not very computer savvy. I do see that it is a Google calendar so you might have to down load something for it to work. maybe someone can chime in to help you out, sorry I couldn’t help you.

That’s what I am getting at Dick, four other clubs in the state have shoots the same weekend, don’t you think you would have more participation if you have it on the following weekend when there are not any other shoots scheduled? I know I would be upset if it was my club and had a shoot scheduled the same weekend for the past years and the WTA schedules what I consider a major event right on top of you. I’m just saying with the declining number of shooters these days we need to work with clubs when scheduling shoots to get the shooter numbers up. Another good reason why we should bring back the 50 mile rule.

Hay guys I have tried everything I know but the calendar will not come out for me , can any of you give me a heads up what to do please .
I would love to see the whole year as I can make plans for my summer then .

When the new Homegrounds were built it was agreed to then that the WTA WOULD not compete with other Wisconsin clubs on shoot dates. With that being said I don’t think it is right to have it then. I know we need to throw targets to make it but the WTA is there to support the local clubs and not compete against them.

The WTA needs to move this one week to Sept. 16-17-18 then there will not conflict with other clubs and it can be kept exclusive.

I just spoke with Bill and they plan on making a change. I did suggest the moving one week to the 16-17-18. They may even go back to the October date as last year. To summit up they are working on it.

Shoot dates can also be viewed on the ATA web site. shootata.com. Just click on Clubs and Shoots

,click the drop down, then scroll down to Wisconsin. Hope this helps.

Ken I think the next weekend would be a great option not overlapping any shoots in the area and still great chance of nice weather.
Should bring a good number of shooters. I remember last year so many people complained to me about the late date.
This should be a great choice Sept 16,17,18th.
