Amy, you are right on…
Some more interesting numbers:
500 shot the flurry.
374 shot Make-A-Break.
89 shot the 50-bird sporting clays course.
Approx. 250 shot the bunker.
Over 200,000 targets thrown not counting practice rounds.Patches awarded:
196-25’s
40-50’s
9-75’s
5-100’sThe campgrounds were the fullest I have seen outside the WTA State Shoot.
The puller/scorers and workers did a much improved job over years past and should be ready for the WTA State Shoot. Great job Brian Giese and team!
All around fantastic job by everyone and we are looking forward to an even larger event next year!
The building looks fantastic, we can’t wait to work out of it next year!
Thanks to everyone who made the WI SCTP State Championships an overwhelming success. Working with Fritz and rest of WTA volunteers has been excellent and everyone is made to feel at home. The amount of time they spend behind the scenes is unknown to most of the attendees, however totally appreciated by all.

On behalf of the SCTP State Advisors I too would like to thank the WTA and the Nekoosa High kids for a great job. The grounds were groomed, the targets were the best that the 20-30 mile an hour winds would allow and all told we through over 180,000 targets last weekend.
Congratulations to the Central Falcons for winning the WI SCTP State Trap Championship with a score of 486 of 500.

Most people don’t see what goes on the weeks and days before a shoot of this size and hardly anyone notices the WTA members out setting traps at sun-up and loading houses at sun-down each day. We are looking forward to an even larger event next year; at our current rate of growth we should be well over 1600 athletes!! PH
All scores are online…. Link to the scoring and squad schedules.

Yes, it is $40 for a 10 x 10 space. Camping is additional. I feel that is fair for both WTA and vendor. Vendors also have a habit of donating products or services to the events they attend.
Don,
My son has set up his Fox River Shooting Sports booth on two occasions at the Homegrounds so far this year, he has paid for the vendor space both times.
$40.00 to WTA for the Kettle Moraine HS Conference Shoot and $200 to the WI State High School Clay Target League. How much they passed on to the WTA… I do not know.
I have told the vendors for the WI SCTP State Championship on June 25th that they will be charged $40.00 by the WTA for one day vendor space, the WI SCTP does not wish to profit from the vendors, they are there for the athletes and families to add to the experience. (The $40 per day came from Fritz who had checked with board members.)
