The Riverdale Trapshooting Team’s home club is the Muscoda Sportsman’s Club for the WI High School Clay Target league practices and competition. We are pleased to announce the sale of Holiday calendar raffles tickets with 100% of all the proceeds donated to the Muscoda Sportsman’s Club. These proceeds will help rebuild the clubhouse which was destroyed by a lightning fire in July. Please contact a Muscoda Sportsman’s Club member or Riverdale Trapshooting Team member/coach for tickets.

The tickets are $10 each and the 9 days of cash drawings will take place from December 21st thru 31st, 2020 (weekdays only).

More information and a picture of the raffle tickets can also be found on the Riverdale Trapshooting Team Facebook page.

You can also contact me directly for raffles tickets:
-We will gladly except checks as payment for the raffles tickets.
-You obviously do not need present to win. We will contact the winners and mail checks for the dollar amounts listed on the ticket.
-If you send me a check for any raffle tickets, I will mail you back your half of the raffle ticket (postage pre-paid).

Any checks send should be made out to “Riverdale Trapshooting Team” and mailed to the following address:

Yesterday, October 11th, Dad and I attended the National Trapshooting Day shoot at the Berlin Conservation Club. We had a great time and the folks were very accommodating.

We wanted to thank the BCC Members for their donation to the Muscoda clubhouse rebuild effort and also everyone there who purchased calendar raffle tickets!

Berlin Conservation Club is a great place to shoot, so please check it out if you have a chance!

On behalf of the Muscoda Sportsman’s Club, Thanks again!!
              Virgil and Brad Bomkamp

Thanks to all those who attended, participated and donated! The day started off a little shaky with high winds and rain but after 8:30 AM it was a great day to shoot!

The Muscoda Sportsman’s Club wanted to let everyone know that we have decided to cap the number of teams to 90. We are there now, with possibly 1 squad opening still available. Unfortunately that means we will not be able to take any same-day walk in teams.

We apologize for having to do that but without a clubhouse it will be nearly impossible to finish the 90 teams we have by 7:30 PM. Then trying to figure everything out in the dark without a clubhouse will be challenging.

If a team really wants to shoot we are willing to start earlier at 7:00 AM. If that is something your team is interested doing, please contact Virgil Bomkmap @ 608-475-0295 ASAP.

We hope everyone understands and we look forward to seeing everyone! It should be a fun day with awesome shooting, great food, and raffles.

Muscoda Sportsman’s Club 1st ATA shoot of the year will be held this Sunday, May 31st starting at 10:00 AM.

The weather forecast appears to be a very favorable temperature with sunny/partly sunny skies.

The inside of the club has been completely sanitized as well as all the seating, benches, and tables outside. We are asking that all participants and visitors still practice social distancing as much as possible if attending this shoot. We have added more outside seating (picnic tables) and will be limiting the inside seating to 2 chairs per table. We have also spaced the inside tables further apart than normal.

We will have a slightly modified menu with lesser options (no hamburgers or deep fried cheese curds, sorry). We will also be eliminating self-serve food items and condiments. These items will still be available, but you will now have to ask for them and they will be handed to you.

It has been a very long time since many of us have had a chance to attend an ATA shoot, so we are looking forward to seeing everyone and ask for your cooperation to help keep everyone safe.

Unless something has changed since the last WTA BOD meeting in April 2019, it doesn’t appear as though The Butcher’s Block is coming at all. In the minutes, it says that since they are not coming that they are looking for an alternative vendor to help with Friday Night Fish Fry.
