I understand the ata having a backlog this time of year but do not understand why Beaver Dam DOES not have results submitted to WTA FOR posting?
Thanks TimI guess it’s just a big secret? Could it be that something is screwed up?
I received a check from Beaver Dam but no idea what it is for, no explanation enclosed? Does anyone know who the champion/winners are for the SE zone? Also scores have not been reported to ATA, at least mine don’t show up in shooter info. Thought they have a certain amount of time to get them in?
I agree with Andy 100%, why would we want to borrow money at times like this? The main reason I don’t care to volunteer to help at the Homegrounds is that they want to spend money on things we don’t need, more trap fields, 5-stand. If you have so much money laying around you can hire someone to do the work, sorry but that’s the way I feel. Let’s pay down the loan if we have a little extra or put it in the coffers in case we have a year like this. Take care of what we have for now.
As far as 5-stand goes the couple trap clubs down by me that have either tried it or are doing it now don’t seem very successful. They are not really gaining more shooters but just getting a few trap or skeet shooters trying it so they just shoot less trap or skeet. Takes more people to run it also. This isn’t Waukesha up there, there just is not the population in that area for it to work! As far as that goes I don’t think it is worth being open for open shooting at all! How much of a profit was made last year on open shooting after ALL expenses? NOT GROSS, I’M TALKING NET? I feel we would be money ahead to just hold our bigger shoots and moth ball it the rest of the time.Pete Rustad
Didn't you watch 60 minutes Sunday about google? They put there companies at the head of the line and the ones not associated with then page 4 plus.Truthfully that’s what started the bleeding! We started spending money we thought we had and we didn’thave it! Wake up! The best we can hope for is to hang on to what we got and have place to hold a state shoot for years to come. Sometimes we have to settle for what we can afford, not what we want!

Really sorry to hear this. Lenny was a hoot to shoot with, always happy to see Lenny show up at a shoot, R.I.P my friend.

I’m sorry to see this happen. I would like to thank them for there time they spent serving the WTA.
Thank You,
PeteRustadSo they are a fund raising committee for the WTA? Is the board involved with how the funds are generated and spent?
Does this mean we would still be waiting if there was shoot offs? lol
Any update on results?
Yes, I would also like to thank everyone for their time and dedication to keep the WTA moving forward.
Thank You,

I also heard the Russians where involved with the nominations!! Is this true?
As I recall Dan only got beat by one vote, so some people must have thought he was doing things right. And people are just beating down the door to get on the board, I think it’s great he stepped up when nobody else did.
The newly elected s/w zone director didn’t make it to the first meeting of his term.Do you have an agenda for the meeting on Saturday?
