I guess no one knows. Unless you are sending out a payout sheet to everyone I would think it would be less expensive to post at least the last days payouts. How are people to know if the money was figured correctly if they don’t get to see the results. If people left before the event was finished? I know last year this was a issue and it took over two weeks to get things posted. You must have them why is it a secrete? There were a few people questioning why they didn’t get paid last year. Is that the problem, people asking questions?
Does anyone know when the payouts will be posted?
Any word on the payouts?
I do believe it was Bill. I think he only had 50 $100 tickets. Thanks Bill for your support.
Would it be possible to get the HOA and HAA lewis and the Hdcp lewis put up. Or even the pay outs for the shoot. I believe we got them posted last year.
Way to go Jimmie. Do they let you drive that into the Casino too?
This site us way under used by both the membership and the member clubs. It is really a shame.
All the best to Judy and her family and to you my friend. Hope to see you soon.
Don’t know who was to turn in the results from the WTA shoot but as far as results from other clubs JD they need to turn them into the webmaster. Other wise he or she doesn’t know what the result were. The problem is with the clubs not the website.
I know the tent was for the SCTP. But what I was saying was we set up a tent before we had the hoop building because they needed some cover. Now that we have a better structure for cover does the WTA need to spend the money for a tent also? We had one tent before and with the hoop building we still added a tent?
Something I should have brought up at the meeting but where the minutes talked about tents. In the past a tent was put up for the SCTP. Last year we rented a tent for them because we weren’t sure if the hoop building would be ready. Now with the building up do we still need to rent another very large tent. I am guessing the tent cost is quite high. No one mentioned it but would be willing to bet it is up in the $1K area. Just something to think about for next year.
Under the beverage truck things get a bit confusing. I know taking minutes gets a little crazy but it just says Theresa will contact a Rapids guy and see if she can get a college kid. I’m sure there are a lot of people both men and women that would like to get a college kid. Who is the Rapids guy and what would the college kid be used for?
I guess the things I brought up just weren’t important.

Mike the main reason for the 501 c3 was so that donations would be tax deductible. There are other tax reasons for the WTA too. There are other issues that it creates too.
So it looks like the Wi State High School Clay Target league is doing well for itself. I will bet they don’t give more than 40% of that $200.
The $40 for one day seems fair if only for a minimal set up. (not a camper)
I am not trying to be a hard ass here but the WTA needs to start looking at this as a business. It can’t keep loosing money or next year all of the youth and adult shooting organizations will be looking for a place to shoot because the Homegrounds will be gone.
In the past and with the WTA State shoot vendors are charged for setting up. Were these vendors charged by the WTA? If not why not? All camping should be charged regular camping rates per the Homegrounds Web site. What were the campers being charged? The Volunteers I understand should not be charged if they are camping. But I have noticed that there seems to be some very high discounts given when it comes to shoots like this. In this time when the WTA needs income I don’t see a reason to give discounts to campers just because they are here for a youth shoot. Sorry but with the ware and tear on the grounds and electricity cost and so on we need to start getting some income from the campers. If they are in the campgrounds or on vendor row it doesn’t matter. If they are full hookup they should be charged the same. $40 weekdays and $45 weekends.
Andy I think there were a lot of things about this loan and Ray’s estate and the joining of the two that no one, even other BOD were aware of. I guess I can understand some of the time inv0lved in getting the investments. But now I think it should have been handled by this time. There are so many rumors floating around about whey the money is not being transferred and with me being out of the loop (as all members are) that I really don’t know what is going on. I hope the BOD learns something, that should have been done with the past board, me included. Things need to be set up with more than one signature. So if something ( hopefully not) should happen that things can still be handled. I don’t know what all needs to be done to protect the WTA and it’s members. But something needs to be done in the future with all bank accounts, loans and such so that ONE person can not take off with and or control. Like I said before I don’t know how this is done but I am sure that there is a way.
I have to apologize as I am one that hasn’t been there this year to help out. I think it is amazing that out of 1500 members you can’t get people to cut grass and paint trap houses. Unfortunately I have had another heart attack this past week. So I will be very limited in what I can do for awhile. In a few weeks Melinda and I will try to come up and do some of the trap houses. My power washer will only go as far as we can get hoses to. And I will bring some more hoses.
Amy wasn’t the weekend John was talking about one of the bunker weekends. That is all that they can get through in a weekend.
