Thanks to Fritz who called this morning I got some answers for my questions. I am going to try to answer my own questions. So hopefully this will save Amy some time.

The 10% Chops can spend is 10% of the est. for the building cost so that would be about $20k. I didn’t have a problem with him having the ability to pay for things building related I just wanted clarification of 10% of what.

The lightning strikes. Apparently the first one was a couple of years ago and it was not tuned into the insurance co. for reimbursement. The second one was this past year just before the state shoot. The same thing. It was never submitted to the insurance co. They were both in the campground septic system and it took out the controller. There is a control panel the send waste to different parts of the system so the same area doesn’t used all the time and the rest doesn’t get as much use.

The membership question is a bit to complicated for me to explain. Something like selling memberships to walk in’s to allow us to safely maintain our 501C3 without having ownership issues.

A yurits is a small cabin like thing that the golf course would rent or let Professional caddy’s stay in. The golf course in question is Sand Valley. A lot of discussion left to be done on this.

Apparently Rome did a study to determine if another hotel would possibly be warranted. And the two businesses (the WTA and Sand Valley) require about the same number of hotel nights. I guess they are going to consider putting up another hotel near Rome. A small one but that would be nice for the state shoot.

Damn. Sounds like I did the blog again. Nope.

Thanks for your call Fritz. Oh and I didn’t say it before but thank you Fritz, Dick and Arlene Otto for stepping up yet once more.

Blueberry. I didn’t see that. That’s my favorite. I can still remember my grandma on the farm in Kentucky making it. Wow. Oh well like Norb says. I should be staying away from that kind of stuff. If Butcher Block comes up I will be having a steak sandwich or two though. My cardiologist says everything in moderation. He even said if I don’t drink through the week I can really give it on the weekends. Right Norb.

Oh and Norb. All that crap about you being good looking and what ever. Remember I’ve known you way to long to fall for that.

Hope everyone had a great holidays and have a happy, prosperous and most importantly HEALTHY New year.

Wow. So sorry to hear. I have known Bob for a long time. He came to all the shoot that we ran at Winchester, Lakeview, Cudahy. He always said he won more lewis money at the shoots where Melinda figured it. He was always nice. He was also a good friend of Rodney’s.
This has been a bad month. Lenny, Marion Radomski, Rodney Overson and now Bob.

Amy. Do you recall was the Peach cobbler done by Butcher block or was that the 4H?

And as for the Ice cream. I think Chops taste buds can be trusted. He and I are similar in stature. If the WTA needs someone to go to Ames and taste test I’m your man. I will even take a director along. Don and I have been known to eat a bit here and there over the years.

Well put Tate. I don’t think anyone thought that the gun club could support the whole Homegrounds. That is why the campgrounds were added. With the research that was done and the business plan that was done by a professional was written it was supposed to be the main income. It still should be and could be.

And Thanks Tate for your reply. In the past several months you,Fritz and Kevin are the only people that have responded to my questions or comments either on here or emails that have been sent to the BOD. Thanks again.

And that’s fine. I was just curious. I would have done it a bit differently to help encourage people to shoot the doubles but it is up to the BOD how they want to run it. So be it.

I may have missed it but it looks like there is no added money in Doubles. Is this correct? Just the $4 per entry and Lewis?
